On this blog I want students to post their thoughts on the ideas discussed and films viewed in class. We will treat this like a living film journal where we can ask questions about aspects of the films we do not fully comprehend and also comment upon the elements we greatly enjoyed. I will start an entry for each film viewed and will also create posts where I will ask students to review films that we are not viewing as a class. If any student has an idea for a topic, let me know.
Remember to be respectful when adding your comments. This is for school credit and the content must adhere to those guidelines. Failure to remain appropriate will result in no credit for the assignment, and a trip to the Upper School office.

A good movie is Rush Hour 3 because it's interesting, action packed, funny, and has a plot. A bad movie is Inception because the plot wasn't that interesting, most the things that they did in the dreams were things you could do in real life thus making it relatively dull since they could have done anything in the dream, and it was slow. A good movie needs to be interesting, funny (if it can be), and have a meaningful plot. A bad movie has two out of these three things: 1) a meaningless, 2) slow, or 3) dull plot.
Oceans 13 was a very good movie because the Character Chemistry was very strong. Also it had lots of action with comedy packed into it. i was really curious the whole movie what was going to happen next throughout the whole movie.
A bad movie was the informant because it did not meet my expectation especially I did not expect Matt Damon to play that type of role. . The movie was very strange and had a uninteresting plot I was also very disappointed when I found out Informant was directed by the same person who directed oceans 13 which was one of my all time favorite movies (Steven Soderbergh)
